Ministry Concept - VisionPartner

I have been a consultant and trainer for
many Fortune and Global 500 companies, including
Bell Helicopter, Hilton Hotels, IBM/Catapult,
Johnson & Johnson, Prudential, Sprint,
and Texas Instruments. I was a training and
education manager and a senior marketing
advisor for Nortel Networks. Most recently,
I was the Vice President of Sales and Business
Development for a Texas technology support
firm serving the small-medium market in outsourced
IT services, network security, and network
design and support, and the Director of Marketing
and Business Development for a local Allergy,
Asthma, and Immunology Center. So, where
is the ministry?
Well, God has used all of these experiences
to prepare me for my ministry. As you will
read elsewhere on this site, I ran from God's
calling for 20 years. I did get my degree
from Oklahoma Baptist University in Pastoral/Youth
Ministry, but I still ran in my heart. It
has taken a long time for me to finally submit
to the Lord. Along the way, he has honed
my gifts and talents. He has shown me that
they were never meant to be used for the
glory of the business world, but for his
glory alone. I have truly learned that the
awards, the successes, the "praise of
men", mean nothing - it is all garbage,
as Paul says, when compared to being obedient
to Father.
I praise God that he has never given up on
me. I thank him for the opportunity he has
given me to still serve him as he called
me to serve him when I was in high school
so many years ago. Now, older, hopefully
wiser, blessed with a patient and wonderful
wife and three absolutely adorable children,
I am seeking to serve, ready to train, and
desiring to help equip Vision Partners!
